The registry fee
is a service charge deducted from the total of the gifts bought from your registry.
This covers the costs of our customer support team, our webservers and website hosting, and other business costs.

We're willing to absorb some or all of those fees if we can have your travel business!
And no, we do not inflate the cost of our travel packages to compensate.
We can generally match any price from any competitor.
- Purchase a travel package through TheBigDay valued at $3,000 or more
and we'll reduce the service fee to 3.5%.
- Purchase a travel package through TheBigDay valued at $5,000 or more
and we'll reduce the service fee to 0.0%.
Please take just a few moments to read the following explanations and restrictions. It's important to us that you
clearly understand how the registry discount works.
Your travel package must include your accommodations at your destination, and may optionally
include your airfare, rental car, transfers, etc. We realize that some customers have air miles they'd like
to use for their honeymoon--and so we don't require that airfare be part of your travel package with us unless you'd
like it to be.
The package you book with us must be for travel starting within 3 months of the date of your wedding in order to receive a discount on your registry.
Your travel must be purchased from a Big Day travel specialist.
Your Big Day travel specialist will be hand-selected for you based upon
their areas of expertise, as well as their current customer workload. Big Day travel
specialists have each been individually invited to join our network based upon their reputation for customer service,
recommendations from our trusted partners in the travel industry, and/or awards they've received.
All Big Day travel specialists have completed a very
detailed training program we've created before being allowed to join our team.
While most of our travel specialists are from TheBigDay's hometown of Portland, Oregon, many come from cities all over
North America. For some of the more exotic destinations and more specialized kinds of travel, we've had to look nationwide
to find the best experts.
